MUSHROOM PAPER
The fascination of mushrooms has moved me to work artistically with them and
their pigments.
For this purpose I'm using various techniques. Some consist of ancient
manufacturing processes, which I combine with new design possibilities and
my ideas.
The organic matter, the craftsmanship, the different possibilities, and
compositions inspire me more and more, so new handmade papers are created
from mushrooms.
They are an essential and primary substance in my creative process. Their
dyes expand the expressiveness and accentuate what is meant. Colour,
material and their composition reflect my experience and feelings.
