Workshirt Rumi is part of a series of works investigating time. Using my own collection of old linen work shirts I have embedded parts that couldn't be pulped and then have removed some to leave traces of the initial making. Other processes have distressed the surface further until mending and/or patching is required. I'm looking for that state of togetherness that is just one degree from not existing.
